JSC "VO "Machinoimport"
The Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Foreign Economic Association" was founded in 1933.
In July 2006 it was transformed to the Joint Stock Company "VO "Machinoimport".
Machinoimport made a substantial contribution to the development of the economy of our country.
In the territory of Russia and the CIS countries Machinoimport under its contracts constructed Orenburg-Western boarder and Urengoi-Pomary-Uzhgorod transcontinental gas pipelines; developed Samotlor, Astrakhan, Tengiz and Karachaganak oil and gas fields, Neryungri coal field and Kuznetsk coal basin; reconstructed and upgraded a number of the sea ports; supplied the equipment for many Russian oil refineries. Among Machinoimport traditional partners there are the biggest companies of Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, USA, Finland, France, Switzerland, Japan and other developed countries.
Under the technical assistance of Machinoimport more than 200 projects have been constructed mainly for fuel and energy industry in 28 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The total export turnover has exceeded 7 bln US Dollars.
